Saturday March 22, 4 p.m.

Valery Ginzburg, Russian movie operator and a brother of famous Russian
playwright, poet, songwriter and dissident Alexander Galich, will present
a video film featuring Galich's underground concerts in Moscow in 70's.
Valery and his wife will also speak about Galich's life and work,
and present a book of memoirs on Galich, with contributions of
Sinyavsky, Bonner, Frumkin, Kim, their own, and others.

The event is scheduled at 4 p.m. (note the time) at the UCSD Visual Arts
Performance Space. Their presentation in LA is scheduled on

Thursday March 27, 7 p.m.

Alexander Dulov, scientist and songwriter from Moscow, Russia,
will give a concert at the Visual Arts Performance Space.
This will be his second performance on UCSD campus. Dulov's
concert at the International Center a year ago was received
with enthusiasm by both Russian and English-speaking audience.

Exit I-5 on Gilman Drive. Buy parking permit ($3)
at the info booth at the campus entrance. Pass 5 stop signs
on Gilman. Turn left to Russel Lane. Park in the lot 410.
Performance space is further north on the right side of the
Russel lane.

musicians give a concert of popular music at Unity Church

Thursday April 17, 7 p.m.

Bella Akhmadulina, a well-known Russian poet will give a
presentation of her work together with the artist R.Messerer
